Our Program
The Warhawks Youth Basketball Association (WYBA) is a community based, travel basketball program in Westerville, Ohio. We offer youth basketball players in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grades, the opportunity to develop their individual and team basketball skills. We strive to prepare these athletes to eventually compete for the Westerville Central High School basketball programs. Our program is a member of the Central Ohio Basketball Association (COBA) competing against top competition from around the Central Ohio area. WYBA strongly encourages a competitive atmosphere that will promote a culture creating hard work, prepared, and positive student athletes.
2025-2026 Season Highlights:
- The 6th Grade Girls team battled through 4 games in one day to win the 2025 COBA Holiday tournament.
- As a reward for winning the COBA Holiday Tournament, the 6th Grade Girls team was invited to play a scrimmage at halftime of the Ohio State Women's Game on Jan 22nd.
- The 5th Grade Girls team battled and won the Platinum bracket of the 2026 MLK Madness tournament.
2024-2025 Season Highlights:
- A huge congrats to our 5th Grade Girls team for winning the 2024-2025 COBA Championship (Division 1 - Gold Bracket), PLUS this same team as 4th graders won the 2023-2024 COBA Championship (Division 1 - Gold Bracket)! Back to Back Champions!
- Our 4th Grade Boys teams also had success in the 2024-2024 COBA Championship Tournament. The 4th Grade Boys - Black team were Runner Up in the Division 1/2 - Silver Bracket, and the 4th Grade Boys - Silver team were Runner Up in the Division 3 Bracket.

We greatly appreciate the support of the Central High School Boys and Girls Basketball programs, and would like our youth families to support the High School teams! WYBA Youth Players have historically received free admission to Central HS home basketball games, if they wear their current year WYBA jersey and are accompanied by 1 paying adult per free student athlete.
