Boys Tryouts tentatively scheduled for Sunday, September 13th and Tuesday, September 15th. Boys should attend at least one session, and attending both tryout dates is recommended.
Times will be announced later this summer.
Girls Tryouts tentatively scheduled for Sunday, September 20th.
Tryouts will be held at the Westerville Central High School. The tryouts are closed tryouts (players and staff only). Parents should plan to drop off and pick up their kids at the above times. Parents are not permitted to wait around the gym or in the check-in area during tryouts.

The season runs from November - February, with practices 2 nights per week at a Westerville school gym (starting early November) and generally 2 games per weekend (starting late November/early December). Teams will have between 14-16 games during the regular season plus 2-3 events/tournaments (pending grade level). Home Games will be played at the Westerville Central High School on Sundays. Away Games will be played at other Central Ohio area schools on Saturdays and/or Sundays. Practices will be two days a week, generally between the hours of 6:15pm-9:00pm, Monday-Thursday, and last no longer than 90 minutes.

The WYBA program relies on volunteer coaches, and we appreciate you! If you are interested in coaching please submit a Coaching Application and someone from the program will respond to your inquiry.
Coaching Commitment: Teams will practice twice a week (usually a Tues/Thurs schedule or Mon/Wed) starting in November with games on Saturdays and Sundays. The teams will have between 14-16 games during the regular season plus 2-3 events/tournament.
All new coaches will go through an interview process with representatives from the WYBA Board and Varsity Program.
